Electrocoagulation is a procedure during which the properties of high-frequency current are used. Using needles / tips of the appropriate shape and size adapted to the size and type of changes, the changes are removed from the skin by current pulses. This happens under the influence of high temperature (up to 200 degrees Celsius). In this process, the so-called denaturation of proteins naturally occurring in the skin, which are destroyed under the action of high temperature, and in the case of blood vessels – they are closed.
It is a non-invasive procedure, because it does not require incision of the skin and surgical removal of tissues. For this reason, it is considered extremely safe, and the risk of complications related to the healing of the site after the procedure is low.
