Microdermabrasion is the grinding of subsequent layers of the skin (under control) until the effect we are satisfied with is obtained. When the epidermis is removed, the increased production of collagen and elastin by the body causes it to be quickly replaced by new tissue. This is how we later deal with smoother, brighter and also much more elastic skin.
