Chemical peels, also known as acid peels or acids, consist in removing the outer layers of the skin in order to stimulate its natural regenerative abilities. Peels loosen the connections between skin cells, which causes the outer layers to peel off. Depending on the type, concentration and pH of the preparation used, we obtain different strengths. In the chemical exfoliation treatment, the idea is to remove the outer layers of the skin, which contain aesthetic defects, and to stimulate natural regeneration processes in order to remove problems located in deeper layers.
